CLARA Analytics Takes Over Las Vegas to Share Vision for the Future of Insurance Claims
Company Shines the Focus on Advancing AI Adoption for Greater Claims Efficiency at ITC Kickoff Summit
SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Oct. 3, 2024 — CLARA Analytics (“CLARA”), a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for insurance claims optimization, today announced that it will play a significant role in two of the leading trade shows for insurtech, ITC Vegas and National Comp, being held Oct. 15-17 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. CLARA will highlight how its powerful generative AI solutions drive efficiencies and reduce cost for carriers, MGA/MGUs, and self-insured organizations.
“We are leading a bold mission to advance the use of technology, specifically AI adoption, in the claims space,” said CLARA CEO Heather H. Wilson. “We want to have a large presence in Las Vegas because of the opportunity to reach so many claims professionals, educating them on what the latest technologies are capable of, what their organizations can do right now to make a positive impact on the claims processes, as well as what they should be thinking about for the future.”
CLARA Puts a Spotlight on Claims at ITC
ITC Vegas is the world’s largest gathering of insurance innovation. Prior to opening its general sessions, ITC holds its Kickoff Summit Day to set the stage. This year, CLARA will deliver a claims-focused Kickoff Summit, the conference’s first in several years. From its Charting Your Claims Future program, claims professionals will draw inspiration on where they should focus strategically over the next three-plus years — what they should adopt quickly versus further down the road to not only make the claims process more efficient but also to make insurance more affordable overall.
CLARA’s Kickoff Summit also will address important trends like AI, social inflation, nuclear verdicts, and an aging workforce, which require insurance professionals to rethink and architect a new insurance claims landscape. These themes and others will be explored by speakers including:
- Nick Anderson, Vice President, Agribusiness Claims and Strategic Transformation, Nationwide
- Paul Brocklebank, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Canal Insurance
- Eric Hornick, Chief Claims Officer and Actuary, The Black Car Fund
- Michelle Raue, Chief Claim and Transformation Officer, Preferred Mutual
As a Title Sponsor of ITC Vegas, CLARA executives and partners take the stage on Oct. 16 to deliver “The Top 10 Low-Hanging Claims Inefficiencies to Tackle Now.” The claims track talk will cover areas for improvement including reserving, claims fraud detection, claim reviews, and attracting the best claims talent. Claims executives will share how they are applying AI and other advanced technologies for measurable results.
CLARA’s full ITC Vegas Schedule:
- Oct. 15, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Charting Your Claims Future Kickoff Summit
- Oct. 16-17 (show hours): Find CLARA at Booth 2230, where team members will be giving away pickleball paddles and balls, its beloved stuffed CLARAty Meerkats, and cake pops

Delivering Fresh Perspective at National Comp
In addition to its ITC Vegas activities, CLARA will have a prominent role at the highly specialized National Comp conference taking place simultaneously. National Comp has been the leading annual gathering for workers’ compensation leaders for the past three decades. CLARA has a rich history of optimizing workers’ comp claims, and National Comp is the ideal venue to connect with its core constituency.
Among its National Comp highlights, CLARA CMO Tyler Jones will lead a talk entitled “Attracting Digital Natives to Workers’ Compensation.” He will share key insights into today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape and how attracting and retaining next-gen talent is crucial for the sustainability and growth of workers’ compensation insurance. The presentation will help attendees better understand both digital natives and the transformative technologies that will be instrumental in hiring and retaining the workforce that drives the future of workers’ comp.
The session will take place from 3-4 p.m. on Oct. 16. Additionally, staff will showcase CLARA’s award-winning product suite and conduct demos of its latest releases in Booth 649. Team members will also conduct numerous giveaways.
Don’t miss CLARA at ITC Vegas and/or National Comp. Both shows run Oct. 15-17 at Mandalay Bay.
