5 Must-Visit Vegas Attractions During Guidewire Connections 2022
Guidewire Connections 2022 brings Guidewire users together to inspire teams to do new and amazing things that bring success to their organizations. 1. Vegas Golden Knights hockey game
Perhaps the Strip’s most exciting new entertainment in the last few years is the arrival of NHL hockey, with the Knights making the playoffs for four of the past five years. You can catch them at home on Monday, October 24 versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.
If hockey isn’t your thing but you still want to take in the action, check out The Park Vegas to explore the outdoor dining and entertainment district located steps away from the conference hotel.
2. The Neon Museum
Looking for a fun, history-filled outing? Head on over to The Neon Museum. The Neon Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, artistic and cultural enrichment.
You can take a tour of the neon graveyard in an hour or less—perfect for a getaway after a full day of sessions (about 15 minutes from the conference hotel). Pro tip: buy tickets in advance!
3. Shark Reef Aquarium
There’s nothing better than getting back to nature after a long day in the conference center. Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef Aquarium is home to more than 2,000 animals, including sharks, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha and a Komodo dragon. You can add on packages to feed the sharks or stingrays for an even more immersive experience. Mandalay Bay is less than 10 minutes by car from the conference hotel.
4. The STRAT Observation Deck
Want to see one of the top-voted views in the city? The Observation Deck at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod is well known as an out-of-this-world experience. Standing at 1,149 feet tall, it is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States.
